The Britney Spears/Kevin Federline Divorce: Did K-Fed get dumped by text?

Okay, we’ve given Reese Witherspoon’s divorce enough attention. (Sorry, Reese.)

Back to the far trashier and therefore far more fascinating saga of the Britney Spears/Kevin Federline divorce.

A new pic shows that Kevin possibly received news of his impending divorce via text message while he was at an event in Canada to promote his new album on Monday night. At the time, he was conducting an interview, saying how Britney was his biggest fan. But considering that he has been giving away concert tickets to his shows for free just to get people to attend, and that his album debuted at No. 151 (probably out of 100, THAT is how bad it is) on the Billboard charts, it is no wonder that even his ‘biggest fan’ decided to divorce him.

K-Fed (already cheekily re-nicknamed Fed-Ex by the media) didn’t take too long to mourn. After all, since he isn’t going to be a kept man anymore, he has his financial future to worry about. So a day after Britney’s divorce suit became public, he counter-filed, seeking custody of their two kids and - no surprise here - financial support.

In the meantime, Kevin’s ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson - whom he graciously dumped for Britney while she was expecting his second child - has jumped to his defense, calling him “such a nice guy.”

Sure, Shar. Since he was nice enough to cheat on you with Britney while you were pregnant with your second child by him, I’m sure Britney would be delighted if you could take him off her newly-manicured hands again.
