Blue Monday: Actually, it seemed to have been a blue weekend for many celebs

We hate to start on such a sour note on a Monday, but we have a lot of hectic news concerning several celebrities. We’ve decided to break it to you all at once.

-Impish Wedding Crashers actor Owen Wilson was rushed to a Santa Monica hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning following an apparent suicide attempt. According to tabloid reports, he slashed his left wrist and took an unknown amount of pills. Via The Hollywood News.
-On Friday, South African actor Erik Holm, who was best known for his role in the local soapie 7de Laan and the movie Fiela se Kind, broke his neck after diving into the murky waters of the man-made lake at the Secunda waterfront to retrieve a ball he and some small kids were playing with. A spokesperson at the MuelMed Medi-Clinic in Pretoria, where the actor was still in ICU, doesn’t know whether the actor’s injuries would leave him permanently paralysed. Via News24.

-And since these things always seem to happen in sets of three: Nick Hogan, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, was seriously injured in a car crash in Florida last night. According to reports, the car, driven by Nick and containing one other passenger, was travelling at high speed down the main road of a Florida town when it hit a raised median, flipped around and hit a palm tree. Nick is in serious condition and his passenger in critical condition in a Florida hospital. Via TMZ.
