Is Chelsy Davy single now?

Oh, no.

It looks as if though Southern Africa has lost one of our princess bride contenders.

Yesterday, a British Sunday tabloid (rather gleefully, we think) reported that Prince Harry and Zim-born, UCT schooled Chelsy Davy have broken up.

As we reluctantly put away the celebratory tiaras we were planning to wear to the royal wedding we had bargained on, we are at least taking consolation in the fact that it was Chelsy who did the dumping last week. So no one can ever accuse her of being a crown jewels-digger!

It’s just a bit ironic to us that their relationship, which had lasted for three years as they were separated across thousands of kilometres, destructed a mere three months after Chelsy’s move to England to be closer to her prince. Apparently Chelsy dumped him because she is homesick, so it looks as if she might quit her course at Leeds University in favour of returning to Cape Town. Maybe, once she has a bit of sun on her blonde head again, she’ll come to her senses…
So we won’t put our tiaras too far away… Apparently Prince Harry - who, ironically, is down here in Lesotho right now doing charity work - has been madly texting and calling Chelsy in an attempt to win her back.

Harry, our money’s on you.

Just for in case though, our other prospective princess bride over in Monaco should really start working her charms now!
