Oprah fulfills school marm duties again

Can you smell the money?

That scent is hovering above the entire South Africa because Oprah Winfrey has been in the country for a few days.
The billionaire school marm came to appease the girls who attend her Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Henley-on-Klip near Jo’burg.

The poor girls have had to endure being the centre of global attention following scandals of abuse by staff members at the school. So Oprah swooped in and threw them all a party this week.

She also secretly (so secretly, in fact, that we read about it here. And here. And here. And here…) visited with the parents and student who initially made claims of abuse and even left the school because of it. Oprah personally invited her to the school’s party which was held earlier this week, and also asked her to return to the school next year.

But maybe Oprah’s had ulterior motives to hide out in South Africa for a few days. It seems that she is incurring a bit of belated wrath on her own soil… (Jealousy just makes the woman who wrote that nasty, we say.)
